These kite camps are holidays to some of the woilrd best kitesurfing destinations escorted by some top UK riders such as Celine Rodenas and Sofi Chevalier. They are designed to help you improve your riding whilst being part of a group of like minded kitesurfers.
Both Celine and Sofi are qualified and experienced sports teachers as well as qualified IKO instructors sponsored by F-ONE, one of the min kitesurf manufactures. Together with Planet Kitesurf and F-ONE Kiteboarding they have created a series of Kite Camps which focuses primarily on the quality of the service, training and the training environment above all else.
This quality of service can be seen in the dedicated coaching style as your coaches are not there for themselves with you as an extra, but instead on the sidelines constantly monitoring and coaching YOU with daily de-briefs, video analysis and personal goals.
Off the water the service continues as we strive to only hold camps at spots where we have an intricate knowledge allowing us to offer the best in accommodation at the best prices.
So whether you want to make your first jumps, your first rotations or are ready to un-hook and start progressing to more advanced tricks, these is the camps to do it.
If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to get on touch with our team who will be more than happy to answer any of your queries.
THE CAMP TRAINERS AND HOSTS
Originally a snowboarder and a skier, it did not take long for Sophie to fall in love with what is now her main motivation, kitesurfing. As a former sports teacher she is a person who loves to share, communicate and inspire. After 3 years of teaching in French high schools and middle schools, she couldn’t resist her desire to get away from it and decided, after qualifying as an IKO instructor, to settle on the paradise island of Zanzibar, Tanzania, to live her new life as a kitesurfer.
After 1 year spent there the desire to expand and share her passion with the female community gave her the idea to create her own online magazine but still kept on teaching and coaching kitesurfing at all levels. Still wanting to give girls a new vision of the sport, she decided to do a little bit more via Kitesista and became the third most influential kitesurfing Girl 2012′ and got sponsorship from F- one, Kanabeach, Lastage and Mood.
Thereafter she met Nicolas Feraud (Kite Academy) with whom she organised progression and coaching camps and realized quickly that this approach is definitely what motivates her and what she likes to do – share her passion and knowledge with others. recently she has joined together with fellow F-One rider Celine Rodenas to create these Pro Kitesurf Camps focusing on training camps offering a high level of service both on and off the water.
With Sophie’s love of travel and kitesurfing, but also with her desire to teach and share, Kite Camp Pro will give you the opportunity to travel to the other side of the world to improve and achieve your goals.
Originally from the Annecy in the alpine region of France, Celine has always flourished and been passionate for extreme sports in her search of adrenaline… so much so that she made it her job.
After graduating in sport education (STAPS master) as a trainer and coach she found a real passion for kitesurfing which quickly became the center of her world. After 3 months of training she started competitions and decided to be a professional kitesurfer. She then went on to win the french freestyle championship in 2008 just 3 years after starting to kitesurf.
Unfortunately she injured both knees and stopped competing for two and a half years, nevertheless she never gave up and her strong character helped her to come back onto the competition circuit and she currently ranks seventh in the PKRA.
Freestyle is her favorite discipline and you will easily recognize her aggressive and committed style when you will see her on the water. Céline found a new motivation trough the kite coaching clinics that she has run in Morocco, USA, Brazil and Noumea. Céline is also a qualified IKO instructor which also provides her with essential core knowledge to teach.
Her target is to show you that nothing is unattainable and share her skills and her love of kitesurfing and traveling.
She is an F-ONE international team rider and you will see her presence can be seen from brochures to magazines, advertising etc.
Having travelled the four corners of the world Celine aims to share with you all her skills and passions and let you leave the camp with a desire to continue to travel ride and improve.
