CASAS QUEMADAS IN FUERTEVENTURA (CORRALEJO)

Casas Quemadas is located in the heart of Corralejo within easy walking distace of the shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants.

This accommodation is ideal for discovering surfing in Fuerteventura and the North Shore reefs are easily accessible by car. The town beaches and ferry port are a five min. walk.

This self contained 3 floor building holds a total of 12 apartments. All the apartments have sea views toward Lanzarote and are tastefully furnished fitted to a high standard.

Each apartment has either 2 or 4 Hobs, small or large fridge freezer, safety deposit box, coffee maker, microwave and washing machine are available on request as well as extra cots.

The 3 bedroom apartment has separate access from the street and a large terrace, a double bed and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite).

Corralejo Playa Grande beach is a beautiful 7 kilometres of fine & very light coloured golden sandy beach and sand dunes which have been the movie backdrop to several fashion and TV advertisements. The beach is located just south of Corralejo and in places is hundreds of metres wide. The beach slopes gently into the sea, and because of the reasonably stong winds the beach is a favourite with windsurfers. A windsurfing centre is located on the beach You can select a busier section of the beach with sun beds and umbrellas on if you want you should be able to find a stretch of beach all to yourself. Along side the road there are several hard shouldered sections for cars to park, in other areas make sure you do not get bogged down in the soft sand alongside the road.

Corralejo s location on Fuerteventura means that it is well positioned for many sports activities. The are north and east facing beaches close by and this allows those who enjoy surfing, windsurfing or kite boarding to move to spend their days in different locations depending upon how the wind is affecting the waves or blowing in relation to the shore. Those that are into hiking or mountain biking have a choice of off road tracks and the distances travelled can be adjusted to suit the time available.

While in Corralejo, recommended eateries for holidaymakers are El Bribon, The Point Restaurant, El Pescador or the Taverna Los Piratas Bar Tapas. The waterfront promenade boasts numerous restaurants and cafes, most in converted historic houses. Corralejo's restaurants offer a wide choice, from good old English fish and chips to Mexican tacos or Indian curry. There is even a smattering of eateries serving up Canarian cuisine and fresh seafood.

The majority of Corralejo bars and Corralejo nightlife can be found along the long straight Main Street, Av.General Franco on our map that continues into Carrero Blanca, and in the warren of narrow short streets on both side of the Main Street, Carrero Blanca and the square, all near the harbour. Most of the livelier bars have live music played by quality artists. Although Corralejo is the liveliest resort on Fuerteventura, it is definitely not on the same scale as the well known resorts of Ayia Napa, Ibiza town, San Antonio, Playa del Ingles or Playa de Las Americas. You can find discos and lively bars and of course Tapas bars. if you have never tried tapas now is your chance.
