Why you'll love kitesurfing with Elephant Stables!
Elephant Stables Overview
The old colonial bungalow was previously the home of Sir Cudah Ratwatte, the patriarch of the island’s leading aristocratic family. Many elephants were once housed in the gardens of his old plantation – hence the name The Elephant Stables.
Located on a private road a mere 10 minutes from the historic city centre, it is nevertheless a haven of serenity, sitting atop a hill with magnificent views of the mist covered Knuckles Mountains in the far distance.
Unlike many luxury boutique hotels in Sri Lanka, The Elephant Stables welcomes families. There are no less than 3 suites that have ample space with additional beds to sleep kids of all ages in comfort.
