Built in the typical 'Mugla' style, the Mervehan's pretty exterior combines exposed stone with whitewashed walls and ornately decorated wooden balconies. The free-form outdoor swimming pool is of a good size and set to the front of the property,
with a separate, circular children's pool adjacent. In addition to the pool surround, which is furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas, there is a shady grassed sunbathing area dotted with cushions.

A traditional Turkish breakfast is available buffetstyle and taken in the informal pool bar-comedining area. By night, a full a la carte menu is available. The Mervehan Residence in Gokova has the added benefit of Turkish bath and sauna, both of which are payable locally.

Rooms are equipped with fridges and airconditioning, with balconies looking out onto either the pool or mountains. Suites offer a separate lounge area with sofa bed and so can accommodate up to four. VIP Suites, the largest room category, are located on the top floor and are equipped additionally with double balconies and jet showers.

Interiors are bright and elegantly appointed with modern, mostly white furniture and well-sized marble bathrooms.
