This is one of the most luxurious new hotels we have found on the Lycian coast.
Literally from the ground up, The Peninsula Gardens has been designed to make the most of the craggy coastal cliffs on which it stands. There are two buildings, but the slope allows the second building to command just as splendid a view as the first.
The ingenuity of the architects means, however, that walking around the hotel does not involve excessive climbing and, within each building, there are lifts to get you between the floors. Each air-conditioned room is appointed to a very high standard, with LCD plasma TV, DVD player, IPod docking station, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, iron, hairdryer and magnifying make-up mirrors. You also have Molton Brown toiletries, kimono style gowns, towelling slippers and beach towels.
Accommodation at Peninsula Gardens
All rooms at The Peninsula Gardens are decorated to a very high standard. They feature huge King-sized beds, which can be separated into capacious single beds if required.
Even the poolside décor has been carefully considered. The decks and terraces have juniper trees, whose sweet, pine-like aroma is enhanced by the splashes of water from the pools. Juniper is widely used in aromatherapy and has a long tradition of use in healing and meditation.
There are large plasma TVs in every room, with DVD players, and satellite reception offering channels in multiple languages. You have tea and coffee making facilities, and the finest Molton Brown toiletries. Room service is available between 8 am and midnight, allowing you to enjoy selections from the hotel’s excellent menus in the privacy and comfort of your balcony or terrace; local charges apply. Guests can also enjoy turn down service as well as a pillow menu.
Drink and Dine at Peninsula Gardens
All meals are taken either al-fresco alongside the communal pool with full open sea views, or inside if you prefer.
Breakfast is buffet style self-service with a range of hot and cold food including cereals, continental breakfast, English breakfast (no pork products), fruit platters, yoghurt, jams and honey. Freshly cooked eggs and omelets cooked to order are also available at no extra charge.
Lunch and Dinner is served Al a carte from a carefully chosen menu of both traditional Turkish dishes as well as International cuisine.
