Maui is the ultimate destination for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and SUP, the place has it all, including the worlds biggest wave, Jaws which you will visit by the way. Maui is also the original SUP destination, where the beach boys created the sport in the early 1960’s.
Along with the clinics own pro instructors, members from the Naish team will also be accompanying you at times to share their experience and advice.
Whilst in Maui you will visit the Naish Headquaters, where the Naish product manager, Michi Schweiger, will give you a presentation on Naish, talking about the research and development which takes place on Maui. If your lucky Robby Naish may also be in town to join you for a beer.
Other activities in Maui include hiking up the Valley of the Kings, tumbling through the ancient Lava Tubes, witness a breathtaking sunset on top of Volcano Haleakala, and swim below waterfalls along the streets of Hana. You will also have a hire car at hand to explore Maui and everything that makes this destination unique.
In terms of SUP, Maui is really great, not just on the water but with the added bonus of one of the worlds’ greatest big wave riders, Dave Kalama spending time with you.
