This tour begins and ends in the beautiful, vibrant St Martin. The tour combines 6 days of sailing around the surrounding islands, with a week of kitesurfing and windsurfing at our resort at Galion Beach, where our partner kitesurf and windsurf centre is located.
Day 1
Fly overnight from the UK.
Day 2: Marigot
Oyster Pond to Marigot – 11 nm
Upon arrival in St Martin, a private driver will greet you and take you to Oyster Pond, where your yacht will be moored. Your skipper will greet you at your yacht, and once you are aboard, begin sailing you to your first destination, Marigot, on the opposite side of the island, where you will spend your first night.
Day 3: Road Bay
Marigot to Road Bay – 12 nm
Leaving St. Martin behind you, your course will take you westward to the south end of Anguilla, a low island renowned for its scuba diving, restaurants, and laid-back Caribbean charm. Road Bay is an excellent anchorage, one of the most pleasant in the northern Leeward Islands. Not far away is Sandy Island, one of many off-lying areas in Anguilla protected as a marine reserve and a good choice for an afternoon spent swimming or snorkeling.
Day 4:Crocus Bay
Road Bay to Crocus Bay – 10 nm
It’s about 5 nautical miles from Road Bay out to Prickly Pear Cays, part of Anguilla’s marine park. These tiny islands are a good lunch stop in settled weather for a swim or snorkeling on the reef. Anchor off the south side of East Prickly Pear at the west end of the cay. Take the dinghy ashore to the north side of the island, where you can enjoy a stroll. Another five nautical miles back to the main island will take you to scenic Crocus Bay, just north of Road Bay, where you can anchor for the night.
Day 5: Orient Bay
Crocus Bay to Orient Bay – 21 nm
From Anguilla’s Crocus Bay, your skipper will set a course to take you along the north coast of the island on a fabulous downwind sail. You try your hand at the helm, with the skippers assistance. Your destination is Orient Bay, where you may have stopped for lunch on the first day of your St. Martin yachting itinerary. There are two good anchorages, shoreside attractions, and plenty of watersports including surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing at our partner centre on Galion Beach in St Martin.
Day 6: Gustavia
Orient Bay to Gustavia – 15 nm
Once you’re away from Orient Bay, your skipper will set a course southward from St. Martin to one of the prettiest locales in the northern Leewards, St. Barts, officially known as St. Barthemey. On the way, stop for lunch and some snorkeling at the privately owned Ile Fourchue, a small, hilly isle off the coast of St. Barts. Moorings are free of charge while you visit. You will be welcome ashore for a quiet stroll.
Day 7: Anse de Colombier
Gustavia to Anse de Colombier – 5 nm
A fast downwind sail takes you northwest along the coast of St. Barts to picturesque Anse de Colombier at the tip of the island. A village is situated nearby and is definitely worth the hike, in part because on the way you’ll be spoilt with stunning views of the surrounding islands. Snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation draw sailors to the bay.
Day 8:Hotel Hoste on Orient Bay
Great Bay to Oyster Pond – 4 nm
On the final morning, an easy passage will take you back to the base in St Martin, where you will arrive by noon. Upon arrival in St Martin you will be greeted by a driver who will take you the 15 minute drive to the airport, where we will have pre booked a rental car for you. From the airport, drive to the 3* Hotel Hoste located on Orient Bay, where you will spend the next 7 nights. Our kitesurf and windsurf centre is located a 5 minute drive away.
Day 15:Back to UK
On the last day make your way back to the airport, where a flight will be waiting to return you to the UK.
