Mexico City, Mayan Wonders, & Kiting Playa Del Carmen

Overview

This tour will take you to some fascinating places in Mexico where you will spend time exploring some of the most exciting and historically interesting sites in Central America. Mayan ruins are scattered throughout the state, from majestic Chichen Itza to virtually unexcavated sites. All topped off with a week of kitesurfing in the lively and luxurious Playa Del Carmen. 

Day 1 - 2: Fly to Mexico

Fly into Mexico City Airport to spend 2 nights in the City with its incredible museums, delicious restaurants and amazing shops. As well as being within easy striking distance of the Aztec pyramid of Teotihuacan or the floating gardens of Xochimilco.

Accommodation:  5* Four Seasons hotel.

Day 3 - 9: Campeche, Merida

On the 3rd day fly from Mexico City to Campeche where you will be greeted by a private transfer and driven down to the Yucatan to spend time at two exquisitely restored haciendas set amongst beautiful tropical landscapes near the colonial towns of Campeche and Merida respectively. They are also within easy reach of the most beguiling Maya archeological sites.

In total you will spend 6 nights in the Yucatan, before moving on to the final leg of you journey, Playa Del Carmen, for 5 days of Kitesurfing!

Day 10: Playa del Carmen

On the 10th day a transfer will take you to your hotel in Playa Del Carmen, which is where our partner kite school is located.

Whilst in Playa Del Carmen you can relax in the All Inclusive hotel, and unwind before returning, or you can make the most of the vibrant party life the town has to offer.
