HO CHI MINH TO HANOI TOUR
Overview
Our "Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi Tour" expands upon our best-selling tour in Vietnam, offering clients an opportunity to visit the fascinating city of Hanoi and sail through the towering cliffs of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Halong Bay.
Day 1: Depart UK
Fly overnight from London to Ho Chi Minh (with one stop).
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh
Upon arrival you will be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure exploring Ho Chi Minh at your leisure. Overnight at Kim Do Royal (BB).
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - Ben Duoc (Cu Chi Tunnels)
You will be met by an English speaking guide who will take you on a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, once the bitter battleground and underground village of the Viet Cong. Explore the underground caverns they once called home and try your hand at shooting an AK rifle (optional). Overnight at Kim Do Royal (BB).
Day 4 - 11: Ho Chi Minh - Phan Thiet (Mui Ne Beach)
Transfer to Mui Ne Beach in Phan Thiet (approximately 3 hours), a beautiful coastal resort with an ever growing kitesurfing and windsurfing community. Stay eight nights at the Full Moon Resort (BB).
Day 12: Phan Thiet (Mui Ne Beach) - Ho Chi Mi
Transfer to Ho Chi Minh for your flight to Hanoi. Fly from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, where you will be met by a local representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Spend the evening wandering the bustling streets of Hanoi and sampling the local delicacies. Overnight at Hanoi Hotel (BB).
Day 13: Hanoi - Halong Bay (Cat Ba Island)
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up and take you to Ha Long City (170km). Upon arrival, you will take a cruise (4 hours) through the amazing karst formations that make Halong Bay so breathtaking. Visit the magical grottoes and take in some of the best scenery that Vietnam has to offer. Lunch of fresh seafood will be served on board. Overnight at Cat Ba Island (BB).
Day 14: Halong Bay (Cat Ba Island) - Hanoi
In the morning set sail from Cat Ba Island for one last cruise through the towering cliffs and fishing villages of Halong Bay. Upon arrival in Ha Long City, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Hanoi. Enjoy your last evening in Vietnam by taking advantage of the affordable shopping. Overnight at Hanoi Hotel (BB).
Day 15: Depart Vietnam
After a morning at leisure, you will be met by your driver, who will take you to the airport in Hanoi for your flight back to London (with one stop). Please note: Kitesurfing and windsurfing is not included. Room upgrades and additional meal plans are available upon request. Rates are available upon request.
