The incredible area of Cabedelo Beach is quickly becoming known for having perfect conditions for learning to kitesurf.  What makes Cabedelo Beach so perfect for beginners is the large breakwaters at the entrance to the port of Viana do Castelo – these protective walls create perfect flat-water conditions along a stretch of the beach.<\/p>\n

A little further down the beach, kitesurfers can find perfect wave conditions for the more advanced. The best winds are found during the summer months between May and September. The wind is normally a lot lighter in the mornings and will pick up nicely for beginners during lunch time, increasing in strength towards the afternoon with late afternoons being the best time for advanced kitesurfers to take to the water. <\/p>\n
