{"id":6073,"date":"2019-11-04T11:38:53","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T11:38:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.planetkitesurfholidays.com\/blog\/?p=6073"},"modified":"2019-11-04T11:38:53","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T11:38:53","slug":"a-brazilian-bonanza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.planetkitesurfholidays.com\/blog\/a-brazilian-bonanza\/","title":{"rendered":"A Brazilian Bonanza!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>November is going to be incredible &#8211; with the finals of both the GKA Kite-Surf and Freestyle disciplines coming to a climax at two events in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.planetkitesurfholidays.com\/countries\/brazil\/bra\">Brazil<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first event is the GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Brazil which will be held in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.planetkitesurfholidays.com\/resorts\/brazil\/prea-jericoacoara\">Prea<\/a> from the 12th to the 16th of November 2019.&nbsp;Pre\u00e1 is a three to four drive north of Fortaleza on the coastline of Cear\u00e1 in northeastern Brazil. It\u2019s a famously windy spot and it blows practically non-stop here during the season with pumping conditions pretty much on tap.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/v0BQlXXg7ac\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The competition will then move down to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.planetkitesurfholidays.com\/resorts\/brazil\/cumbuco\">Cumbuco<\/a> for the GKA Freestyle World Cup Brazil &#8211; the Superkite Cumbuco &#8211; from the 19th to the 23rd of November.&nbsp;Cumbuco, with its golden beaches, perfect wind conditions, and buzzing atmosphere, is one of kiteboarding\u2019s most famous destinations. 2,800 hours of sunshine per year also don\u2019t hurt and there\u2019s a reason why so many of the world\u2019s top freestyle competitors head to Cumbuco to train every season.<\/p>\n<p>The final winner-takes-all climax will be at Cumbuco in Brazil where the men\u2019s title and remaining podium places in the women\u2019s event are all still to be decided! Adeuri Corniel holds the narrowest of leads over Valentin Rodriguez in the men\u2019s, but the top six are all super tight.
