Accomodation At Heritance Kandalama
Superior Rooms : The 19.8 Sqm Superior Rooms have private balconies with a view of the lake and the Dambulla Rock. The shower cubicles are equipped with giant rain shower heads to provide a refreshing, invigorating experience.
Panoramic Rooms : Panoramic Rooms in the Dambulla wing have private balconies with a view of the lake and the Dambulla Rock.
Luxury Rooms : The 25 Sqm Luxury Rooms are located in the Sigiriya wing, with views of the rock fortress. They are larger than Superior Rooms, and the bathroom contains a separate bathtub as well as a shower cubicle.
Luxury Panoramic Rooms : Luxury Panoramic rooms have a private balconies with a view of the lake and the Dambulla Rock. Also these rooms feature the largest balconies out of all the hotel rooms – with the best views of the Kandalama tank!

Suites : With a separate sitting area, two private balconies, and a DVD player, the 43 Sqm Suites provide you with more space to spread out and relax. They are ideal for families, as we can provide an extra bed in the sitting area. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi and separate rainshower cubicle, as well as bathrobes and slippers.

Dining At Heritance Kandalama
Heritance cuisine takes local ingredients and techniques and combines them with Western presentation and influences to produce healthy dishes that look stunning and taste divine.
Kanchana Restaurant : The main restaurant with full-length glass windows providing views over the lake. Sometimes you can dine outside, accompanied by the haunting flute music of Siripala. Kanchana Restaurant offers east and west cuisine.
Kaludiya Fusion : Fusion dining restaurant offers sophisticated fusion dining, blending cultural influences from around the globe. You can travel the world in a single meal, perhaps starting with Iranian mutton kofta on roasted aubergine and pomegranate salad. Then linger over baked red snapper marinated with tahini and sumac, served with Spanish saffron rice and olive tomato gravy, before ending up with tropical fruit kebab flamed in red rum and accompanied by wood apple, mango cassata and toffee cream.
Cafe and Bars
Every full moon day of the month is declared a Buddhist poya holiday. Sale of liquor is prohibited on this day.
Cafe Kachchan : Café Kachchan overlooking the infinity pool, Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Kandalama lake. On arrival you will be invited to relax here with a cool drink while we take care of your registration. At other times you can order light bites and snacks, such as our signature jumbo sandwich, ice cream sundaes and cakes.
Kachchan Bar : Next to the Café Kachchan is the main residents’ bar, where you can find a wide range of international and local brands of beer, wine and spirits. Lion and Three Coins lager are made in Sri Lanka, while arrack is the local spirit, distilled from coconut juice.
Kanchana Lounge : The spacious Kanchana Lounge, is decked out with comfortable basket chairs and sofas and stylish wooden animal sculptures. It’s the place to go for coffee and a liqueur after dinner. Liquor and Light snacks are served anytime of the day.
