The hotel is located in Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, approximately 2.5 kilometers from the town center. It's on a private 12-acre reserve, home to over 372 native orchid species and 214 bird species. The hotel is just across from the train station and about a 30-minute bus ride from the Machu Picchu citadel.
Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel offers 83 rooms and suites, each designed with local materials and traditional Andean décor. The accommodations range from cozy rooms to spacious villas, all featuring modern amenities and views of the surrounding gardens.

The ideal time to visit is during the dry season, from May to September, when the weather is sunny and suitable for outdoor activities. June is particularly popular due to the Inti Raymi festival. The rainy season, from November to March, sees fewer tourists but can bring heavy rains, especially in January and February, which may affect travel plans.
