From 21 to 25 March 2017 Dakhla will play host to the 3rd edition of the Dragons Challenge – the ultimate of kitesurfing competitions! With the Sahara desert as a backdrop, and the consistent wind and flat water of the enormous Dakhla lagoon the playground, five days of kitesurfing and challenges await.
Challenges include a race to Dragon Island and back, a speed challenge, a big air challenge, a SUP race and a downwind challenge. With one challenge per day, the competition appeals to both intermediate to advanced kitesurfers who must use their own equipment.
The overall winner will enjoy the amazing prize of a one-week all-inclusive stay in Dakhla. As the biggest kitesurfing centre in Dakhla, Camp Dakhla offers guests three different types of accommodation to choose from, a spa, cable park and the latest and best kitesurfing, windsurfing, SUPing and surfing gear.
With additional activities on offer such as desert 4×4 trails, catamaran trips and surf adventures, Dakhla is the perfect playground for adventure junkies.
