Red Bull King of the Air 2018

Returning to the beautiful Cape Town coast is the adrenaline-inducing kiteboarding contest, the Red Bull King of the Air. Watch as the best kitesurfers in the world face off to get the biggest airs. The contest will take place at Kite Beach in Blouberg and the waiting period begins on 27 January,  so get ready for some epic kitesurfing.

The riders will have a two-week weather window to go head to head. The organisers will make sure that the contest will only be run on days with the ultimate conditions. They will be looking for that strong south-easterly wind and some perfect swell that will allow the riders to boost some seriously extreme moves.
