Days 1-3 - Negombo

Arrive Sri Lanka's International Airport in Colombo on direct flight from UK.
From here the Capital of Colombo is only 38km away making it an easy day trip for shopping, sightseeing and eating. However for those who do not want to venture to far away Negombo, a fishing hamlet turned resort town has plenty of rich culture and heritage to keep its visitors well occupied.
Days 4-5 - Kandy
Leave Negombo in the late morning and proceed to Kandy where you will check into the beautiful Earl's Regency Resort in the afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at leisure by the pool or exploring the beautiful surroundings.
The Temple of the Tooth Relic is the most significant highlight of the city along with the Kandy lake, the town and other attractions.
The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage provides visitors with the best chance of seeing a large number of elephants at close quarters. The orphanage was established in 1975 and commenced with seven orphaned elephants.
Days 6-7 - Sigiriya
Accommodation: 4* Sigiriya Village Hotel Bed & Breakfast
Leave Kandy in the late morning and proceed to Sigiriya where you will check into the beautiful Sigiriya Village Hotel in the afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at leisure by the pool or exploring the beautiful surroundings.
Next to the Hotel, you can visit Polonnaruwa – this medieval city rose to fame as the capital after the decline of Anuradhapura. The entire landscape of the region is punctuated by huge man-made reservoirs, the most famous of which is the Parakrama Samudra or the Sea of Parakrama.
In the afternoon visit Sigiriya and climb the majestic Sigiriya Rock and discover the ruins of a once beautiful royal palace at its summit. Sigiriya – this UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most impressive facets of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, the Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares. Built by King Kashyapa, the “Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200m from the scrub jungle
Days 8-12 - Kalpitiya

You will be pick-up in your hotel and transfered to Kalpitiya. In this resort, you can visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, a unique orphanage, where the tiny tots weigh 60 kg or more. This is the Pinnewela Elephant Orphanage, the world's first and only elephant orphanage established to feed, nurse and house young elephants lost or abandoned by their mothers. Visitors could see the baby elephants being fed milk from gigantic feeding bottles or bathed in the river which flows nearby – an unforgettable sight! Established in 1975, by the Wildlife Department and National Zoological gardens which subsequently led to a breeding programme through which more than twenty five elephants have been born since 1984.
During this week, you can also relax on the beach, do water-sports, or take some visit tour.
Days 13-19 - Maldives
Accommodation: 4* Hudhuran Fushi All Inclusive
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the Maldives. You will be met at the airport by our ground agents, who will show you to your speedboat for a transfer to your island resort (approximately 30 minutes). When you arrive you will receive a warm Maldivian greeting and be shown to your room where you will stay for the next week.

Day 20 - Back to UK
On your last day in , a private transfer will pick you up to take you to the airport, where an overnight flight will be waiting to fly you back to the UK.
