Did you know...
Antigua is known as Waladii or Wadadii by locals and Mount Obama is the island's highest point. The name of the mountain was originally named Boggey Peak but this was changed in 2009 to honour the US President Barrack Obama. The unique island is just 14 miles by 11 miles!
Antigua is a beautiful Caribbean island that is an amazing windsurfing and kitesurfing destination! It is geographically small in size (11 by 14 miles), which makes it very accessible and with so many beautiful beaches, you are truly spoilt for choice. For this reasons it is advisable to hire a car, which Planet Kitesurf can organise, to make the most of the small distances between the different kitesurfing spots.
