Conditions On Evia Island
From the middle of March to the middle of October, Evia island offers fantastic wind conditions, whether you are a beginner or have been addicted to the wind for years. The wind strength varies from 15-35 knots and the water conditions can change from super flat to a bit of chop and at times the mid-size wind swell creates waves from 1-2.5m at certain spots. On the island of Evia you will find plenty of spots and a variety of conditions catering for all levels. The three main spots include the Port of Marmari, Lefkadi and the wave spot Kimi.

Hiking in the famous Dimosari Gorge

Marmari offers a wide variety of beaches on the Euboean Gulf as well as on the Aegean Sea. There are large sandy beaches and bays with pebbles. Some of the best beaches in the area are: Zastani, Megali Ammos, Kokkini, Fygias, Giannitsi, Agios Dimitrios, Kallianos.
Getting To Evia Island
All major European Aviation Companies operate regular flights to Athens International Airport. From Athens you can take the direct Regional Bus Service (KTEL) to the port of Rafina or you can hire a taxi for the journey to the port. From the Port of Rafina you board the ferry to Marmari. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Alternatively, Eleftherios Venizelos is by the main highway and is just 1hr drive away. Access is by bridge from the mainland.
