Tatajuba in Nothern Brazil is a secret hideaway where you can reconnect with nature and in an astonishing location that will work on your soul. Tatajuba is known for its fantastic sunsets and beautiful night sky which is full of stars. Tatajuba is the jewel of Brasil, still untouched with white sandy beaches, and sunny warm weather which lasts the whole year. Amazing nightlife is also available close by in Jericoacoara.
Kitesurfing In Tatajuba
In Tatajuba, there are some sandbanks that at low tide create beautiful flat water conditions. This is a perfect spot for beginners as the water level sits at a few centimetres to waist height. In addition to this when high tide is over 3.1m, the canal creates a large pool for kitesurfing. The kitesurfing conditions in Tatajuba are at the best from June until February.
Getting To Tatajuba
A 4x4WD car is highly recommended, however, depending on the condition of dunes it is possible to arrive with a 2W drive. Once you have arrived at Posto San Josè in Parazinho a guide can help/drive your car on the sand path that leads to Tatajuba. Posto Sao Josè is located along the motorway CE-085 coming from Fortaleza. Private transfers can also be arranged in a 4x4 to get you to Tatajuba.
