Yala Taru Villa

This stylish 2-bedroom oasis in the serene rural countryside around Sri Lanka’s best-loved Wildlife Sanctuary, is the perfect place to soothe your senses after the heat and dust of a safari through the rugged terrain of Yala National Park. This private villa is set in a small village surrounded by traditional Chena farms (sustainable, small-scale, agriculture) located within close proximity to Yala National Park (approx. 30 minute drive).
Taru Villas- Yala invites you to get off the beaten track and relax amongst nature – where bird-call and the rustle of wind in the trees replaces the shrill noise of the city. You’ll wake up in luxurious comfort to distant chants from the village temple and be awed by a sky full of stars at night. You can take a stroll in the 4-acre gardens and observe squirrels, birds, and small animals in their natural setting and if you’re lucky a visiting peacock will give you a performance to remember.

This stylish villa in Yala offers a range of services and amenities accommodating a maximum of six people. There is a turquoise pool with a uniform depth of 4ft and free wifi throughout. Your stay includes all meals, snacks and selected beverages.

In-house guests receive one game drive at Yala National Park per day which includes the guidance of an experienced Naturalist, a jeep with driver and Park entrance tickets.
