Zaafarana is a remote spot located about 2 hours drive south of Cairto airport. This is a very quiet and idyllic kitesurf area with a large area of shallow flat water directly in-front of the Kitesurf centre (which is based at the one hotel in Zaafarana). A little further upwind of the centre there is a more exposed kitesurfing zone offering slightly more challenging conditions for the more advance freestyler (with the possibility of some small swell).
So if you are looking for a beautiful uncrowned beach with perfect beginner and improver kitesurf conditions and on on-site hotel, Zaafarana if a good choice. The absence of any mass development in the area means that the wind has hardly any obstacles making the cross on shore wind super clean.
