2WK MOUNTAINS AND BEACHES IN MAURITIUS

Though Mauiritius is most commonly known for it's stunning beaches, the mountains also provide a great deal of beautiful scenery. This tour firstly takes you on stunning drives through the mountains in the south west region of the island. The last 10 days are spent on the incredible, windy beach of Belle Mare.

Fly overnight from the UK to Mauritius.

An arrival you will be greeted by our ground agents and taken on a stunning drive to Lakaz Chamarel, high in the mountains of south west Mauritius. Here you will spend three nights in a Superior Room.

Lakaz Chamarel's fantastic setting allows for some beautiful walks around the area. You can also explore on mountain bikes, taking in the amazing scenery, and looking out for the endemic Pink Pigeon.

Today you can visit the famous Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth for some great photographs of an unusual phenomenon. Nearby there is also the picturesque Chamarel Falls and Le Chamarel restaurant, which boasts stunning views of the coastline.

In the morning you will be taken to the stunning beach of Belle Mare, where you will spend 7 nights at the 4* Palmeraie, which is where our partner kitesurf centre is located, allowing you to easily rent kit, or take lessons. They also have a fleet of paddleboards and a list of excursions for exploring the coast and mangroves.

Whilst in Belle Mare you can also enjoy many other activities, such as Catamaran cruises which leave from lots of areas on Mauritius. Snorkeling is perfect for family members of all ages, and can be arranged with dolphins. Deep sea fishing trip are available too. Just to name a few!

In the morning you will be picked up by a private driver and driven back to the airport, from where you will fly overnight to the UK.
