The Palmerie

Suites and villas overlooking lush tropical gardens, nearly all with sea views, pools and direct access to the private Medina beach.

One Bedroom Suite: This luxurious and elegant suite, approximately 1,000 square feet has been designed for total comfort and features a large en-suite bedroom with king-size bed and an open plan fully equipped kitchen with dining area. The living area has large glass balcony doors, which open onto tropical gardens and pools.

Luxury Three Bedroom Villa: This stunning and luxurious beach villa set amidst palm trees, measures approximately 4,400 square feet offering views of the ocean. With opulent spaces throughout, the villa has three large en-suite bedrooms, chic ground floor living areas, a kitchen and a dining area. The upper terrace has a relaxation lounge, another kitchen/bar entertainment area and a plunge pool.

Luxury Four Bedroom Villa: A magnificent beachfront villa of approximately 4,800 square feet overlooking the Indian Ocean. Enjoy this truly magical location with direct beach access. It features four large en-suite bedrooms with ocean views and a well-appointed kitchen. High on the private roof terrace, there is a generously spaced lounge area that offers a deluxe plunge pool to relax in as you enjoy the expensive views over the ocean.

The Medina

Two Bedroom Suite: Designed with relaxation in mind, this richly appointed suite measures approximately 1,500 square feet creating a feeling of home with peaceful colour tones and chic décor. It features two large en-suite bedrooms with king-size double/twin beds, open plan kitchen with dining area coupled with spacious living areas that open up onto tropical gardens and pools.

Luxury Two Bedroom Penthouse: This architecturally inspired creation is approximately 3, 200 square feet and features an internal courtyard with high vaulted ceiling. There are two large en-suite bedrooms with king-size double/twin beds on the first floor along with an open plan kitchen and dining area. Above is a roof top that has a spacious lounge with terraces and a private plunge pool.

Luxury Three Bedroom Ocean Lodge: Set high at tree-top level to catch the sea breeze, this lodge measures approximately 3,300 square feet offering lovely views of the ocean. It features three large en-suite bedrooms along with an open plan kitchen and dining area. On the roof top, located on the third level is a relaxation terrace that has a private plunge pool.

The bartenders are specially trained to produce the most delicious and freshest cocktails - many of them invented exclusively for Medina Palms. The chefs have developed a reputation second to none in the coastal region. Whether it is a quick snack, a casual meal or a special occasion, you will find the chefs up to the task. Amandina Restaurant 
A wonderful range of Mediterranean, Moroccan and African dishes have been carefully selected by the chefs for you to enjoy. They are created using the finest fresh ingredients. Many of the organic herbs and vegetables come from Medina Palms’ own garden, and much of the seafood is sourced locally. The carefully chosen wine list includes African, European and New World choices to complement your meal. The open-air restaurant combines casual dining with elegant surroundings. Coffee Garden
Escape the heat of the day beneath the canopy of trees in the coffee garden. Situated in the heart of the Medina, it is the perfect place to enjoy coffees, exclusively chosen for Medina Palms. You can select from fresh juices and smoothies, light snacks, ice creams and cakes, as well as extensive sandwich, tapas and lunch menus. Tropical cocktails have been specially created for Medina Palms and you will be tempted to try them all.

The Long Bar
The Long Bar is the stylish spot to unwind with a cool drink and share delicious hot and cold tapas with friends. Watersports

The Watamu Marine Reserve is home to some of East Africa's best reefs for snorkelling or diving. It is ideal for beginners, with exquisite shallow coral gardens. The more experienced divers can explore the turtle reef, with its greater depths (10 to 35 meters). High spiking coral heads attract large shoals of parrotfish. If you are lucky, you may catch sight of a harmless white-tip reef shark. Watersports offered by Medina Palms include windsurfing, kayaking and bodyboarding.
