KODDU is located on the Kalpatiya lagoons' edge within a largely untouched part of the peninsula. The hotel is surrounded by water, sand dunes and coastal ecosystems. The wider area consists of a chain of islands and marine habitats, home to diverse wildlife including dolphins, whales and sea turtles, giving the destination a very natural and uncommercial feel.
There is a central restaurant and bar serving a mix of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including seafood and organic produce, with both indoor and outdoor dining options, including private dining experiences. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, with a strong focus on enjoying the surroundings rather than structured resort-style living.
Facilities include a landscaped outdoor swimming pool set within the gardens, along with various lounge and relaxation spaces positioned to take advantage of the lagoon views.
