Villa Serenity

Villa Serenity is a luxury beachfront resort located in Paje in eastern Zanzibar. It consists of five beautiful villas, two of them with four self-contained bedrooms each, and three with two self-contained bedrooms as well as a luxury suite overlooking the turquoise waters of the ocean. Each villa has beautifully furnished dining and living areas as well as upper balconies overlooking the ocean. Each villa offers breathtaking views of the ocean while affording maximum privacy and tranquillity. Not only is each villa mere steps away from the soft white sands of Paje beach and warm inviting turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, but also include a very private swimming pool.

Accommodation

Designed by renowned Austrian architect Rupert Weber, each villa is every bit as remarkable as its picturesque natural surroundings. The two-story villas each showcase an exotic blend of Moorish and Maghrebi-Andalusian-style features, from stunning cusped arches, heavy-beamed high ceilings and spectacular skylights, married with finely-crafted and traditional Zanzibari wooden doors and windows.

The striking designs combine traditional North African architectural elements with luxurious Zanzibari flourishes. Marbled terraces overlooking the ocean provide spectacular sunrise and sunset views and a breathtaking glimpse of the immense, star-studded night sky. High ceilings, spacious interiors featuring furniture designed by local artisans and a bubbling marble fountain at the centre of each villa, combine to create dramatic interiors.

The Beachfront restaurant and bar offer the most magical views of the Indian Ocean while you enjoy special seafood dishes and other culinary delights made by local chefs. The restaurant offers a romantic way to enjoy the food of the island and international cuisine. Guests of Villa Serenity may enjoy meals served to villa dining room for a private and personalized service as well as Butler service (charges may apply).
