The kitesurf centre is located on beautiful Jabberwock Beach on the North East side of the island. Its a great place to learn how to kite, or to take your riding to the next level. The wind blows side-on which is perfect for all skill levels. The water conditions tend to be mostly bump and jump conditions, perfect for launching airs. There are also a few flat areas for 'wakestyle' tricks where there is a 60 foot A- frame slider and a kicker. When the wind is from the North (more on-shore) the shorebreak can be really fun for more advanced riders.
The centre uses the latest Cabrinha Switch Blade kites, They will rent out equipment, but only to guests with a minumum of IKO Level 2. They also offer lessons for all levels of kiters, from 4 hour beginner days, to one hour advanced tuition.
As well as rental and lessons, the guys at the school offer to take guests around the island, to visit various other kite spots, where crowds are non existent. A guide is recommended as the best spots are usually very off the beaten track.
As Jabberwock Bay is a nature reserve, no building are allowed on the beach. So the school is mobile, and there are no hotels, which means a car or taxi is required to reach the spot, unless you want to kite another part of the island.
