Overview

Baglio Custera rises in the territory of Marsala, on the hill of Rakalia, ancient Heraclia, famous for its luxuriant gardens, for the favorable climate and for the abundance of water since the time of the Punics who built an aqueduct to supply the nearby island of Motya.
The farmhouse stands on an agricultural land in the context of a large olive grove and a luxuriant citrus grove, in a position that dominates the coast (hence the probable origin of the local toponym "Custera") towards the splendid Egadi archipelago, a suggestive scenario of exciting sunsets.

While enjoying all the services of a comfortable hotel, guests will have the sensation of living in absolute privacy thanks to the characteristics of the rooms which enjoy a double exposure: one on the internal courtyard towards the swimming pool, and one in a private outdoor space among the olive trees, where on comfortable
armchairs they can sip a good glass chosen from the proposals of the cellar that accompanies each room. The restaurant 
The cuisine is inspired by local recipes, sometimes skilfully revisited by our chefs, and aims at enhancing the quality raw materials of which our territory is rich. The strong point of our dishes is the use of extra virgin olive oil produced by the olive trees that surround the farmhouse, the result of cultivation methods that respect the environment and which give a genuine product with an irresistible taste.

The ingredients
The ingredients, almost all Sicilian and mostly from the Marsala area, are carefully selected, in the belief that good cooking must necessarily be based on the use of excellent products.

The Tradition
Our cuisine is the result of an excellent ancient culinary tradition made unique by the professionalism of the chefs who will be able to amaze you now for the strict respect for tradition, now for the inspiration with which they will dare to revisit some dishes of our local cuisine. Even in the kitchen, our philosophy consists in combining tradition and innovation.
