Its location directly on the lagoon means guests can launch and land only a few metres from the centre, making every session simple and convenient.
Fortim is one of Brazil's newest and most exciting kitesurfing destinations, offering a huge, beautiful lagoon, incredibly reliable wind and a relaxed atmosphere just two hours from Fortaleza International Airport. Unlike some of Brazil's busier kitesurfing locations, Fortim provides a more peaceful environment with plenty of space on the water, making it an excellent choice for everyone from complete beginners through to advanced riders.
The lagoon offers a fantastic mix of riding conditions. Large areas of shallow, flat water create the perfect environment for learning and progressing, while as the tide changes there are areas of light chop and small waves to keep experienced riders entertained. The combination of warm water, consistent trade winds and a spacious riding area makes Fortim one of the easiest and most enjoyable places in Brazil to learn or improve your kitesurfing.
A highly experienced team of multilingual instructors provides lessons for all abilities, from complete beginners taking their very first lesson through to advanced riders looking to improve jumping, transitions, freestyle, wave riding or kite foiling. Lessons are tailored to each individual's ability and progress, with a strong emphasis on safety, confidence and maximum time on the water. The shallow lagoon provides ideal learning conditions, allowing beginners to develop quickly in a safe and controlled environment.
