Diani Sea Resort General Impression
Those who visited Kenya can look forward to a refreshing blend of abundant natural and fascinating cultures.
The Diani Sea Resort is located on Diani Beach, the gorgeous white beach, 30 km south of Mombasa. 4.5 hectares of land offer plenty of space for 170 rooms and the main building with a large swimming pool and various sports facilities.
The gently sloping sandy beach, next to the hotel offers many opportunities for swimming, snorkeling and diving.
Lounging on the couch in the garden, overlooking the Indian Ocean around the pool is just a way to spend the day. The animation team organizes activities throughout the day.
Accommodation
There are 170 simply furnished rooms, all located in the main three-storey building overlooking the tropical gardens and featuring air-conditioning, shower, telephone, television and a balcony or terrace.
The rooms are divided in three categories:
Standard room: as above
Family room: larger than the standard can also accommodate 2 children under 12 in an adjoining room.
Bahari room: set on the seafront and feature a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.
Diani Sea Resort Facilities
Half way between the main building and the beach there is a spacious pool with island, and a water slide.
For sports enthusiasts there are 2 tennis courts, squash courts, table tennis and mini golf. Directly on the beach are located in two storey bungalows diving school, medical massage, windsurfing and the basis for deep-sea fishing.
Restaurants&Bars
The Pwani Restaurant (main restaurant) is located in the main building. Here you can serve yourself to breakfast and lunch buffet. In the evening they offer a minimum of 3 evenings theme buffet. On Saturday, a multi-course candle light menu is served. On other evenings you can help yourself from the generous buffet.
The Mawimbi Restaurant (daytime snack bar) is located between the pool and sunbathing area. Here, in the evening, Italian cuisine is offered.
