The Kenyaways Beach House is in a perfect location right on the beach of Galu Diani on the South coast of Mombasa, East Africa. The guesthouse and restaurant overlooks the most stunning beach which you won’t believe until you see it. The beach expands as far as the eye can see, with palm trees fringing over the coastline and turquoise clear water blue water that is sheltered by a coral reef. In the garden and on the beach there are hammocks, sun beds and seating to relax and sunbathe. There is also a massage area with a sea view where you can relieve the aches and pains without breaking your budget.

Accommodation At Kenyaways Beach House

This hotel only has 10 bedrooms making it private and unique. It is set on a 3 acre property on the beach amongst tropical gardens and indigenous forest. It has a swimming pool in a sheltered forest glade ideal for when you want to escape the beach when it is too windy. Great for sunbathing.

The B&B rooms have all the convenience of a hotel but with a friendly guest house experience which makes it more like a home away from home. 5 rooms have gorgeous ocean views. 3 rooms are in the poolside garden. All rooms have an outside terrace or patio and are ensuite with hot water showers. Each are individually decorated and no room is the same. All rooms are comfortable and equipped with linen, towels, and beach towels. There is fan and mosquito protection in all the rooms. House keeping is done twice daily. 

There is also one apartment. It has one bedroom ensuite, and the option of 2 sofa beds on the verandah. It is a good option if you prefer having more space, privacy and independence. This includes a kitchenette, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a 2 hob stove and dining space. It is great for a longer stay or if you have children who can bunk on the sofa bed, as you have lots of private living space. It is very comfortable and spacious, and filled with all the the amenities of the guest house, but with the privacy of your own home. The décor is rustic, simple and stylish allowing the views and breathtaking surrounds to take centre stage. 

Drink & Dine

A simple complimentary breakfast is included in all the rates. You will find the breakfast menu displayed in your room. Children on complimentary board will be served at extra cost. Baby chairs are available on request. Cooked breakfast is available at extra cost from the menu on the table. If you are having an early departure or going on a day trip early, please arrange with The Salty Squid to have a picnic breakfast packed for you.
The Salty Squid Beach Bar and Restaurant at Kenyaways is externally owned. It is located at the beach front near the water-sports centre. It has has excellent reviews. The food aims to make use of the extensive range of local produce using fresh local organic ingredients including an abundance of delicious and fresh sea food. With its healthy and wide selection, as well as reasonable prices, the Kenyaways restaurant is very popular with in house guests as well as Diani Beach locals. Please book in advance! The bar serves a range of alcoholic beverages as well as cocktails, teas and frothy coffees.
