Barra Grande is an exceptional beachfront property offering a European-style level of service, something very hard to find in Brazil. From the moment of checking in you will be greeted with a warm smell and made to feel very at home. The property is directly on the main kitesurf and wing foiling beach in Barre Grande, so the location is perfect. The large onsite kitesurf school and wing foiling centre is equally impressive and professional (see our sport centre pages for more on this).
The accommodation options here work well for all types of clients, from soil travellers to Families (especially the very large beach from Bungalows). There I a great restaurant on the beach front service good value very good food, as well as a shaded beachfront sitting area - perfect to chilling gout and watching the action win the water.
Although not a ‘luxury property’ this is of a great standard, with superb service and perfect location - highly recommended.
Standard Chalet - 2 small wooden huts plus 3 Masonry chalets, with straw roof, and air conditioning, located toward the rear of the property, in the middle of the coconut trees. Good for the more budget-conscious traveller.
Coconut Chalet - 8 wood and glass air-conditioned bungalows, with straw roof, located in the middle of the property around or close to the pool area
Sea Front Bungalows - 5 very large air-conditioned bungalows raised on stilts, with stunning views from our large private balcony directly to the ocean (and kitesurf / wing foiling spot). Perfect for couples and families.
Deluxe Sea Front Bungalows - as above but with an additional while pool on the ground floor.
