Koloa Hotel, Barra Grande

Koloa Concept Hotel is one of the newest luxury boutique properties on Brazil’s Rota das Emoções, located on the quiet coastline near Barra Grande. Accommodation at Koloa Concept Hotel consists of 26 individually designed suites and rooms, many of which are centred around the hotel’s signature swimming pool that flows through the property. The accommodation has an indoor-outdoor feel, with natural light, minimalist décor and soft neutral tones throughout. Entry-level categories offer contemporary bedrooms with king-size beds, air conditioning, Smart TVs, minibars, espresso machines, premium bedding and modern bathrooms with rainfall showers. Several suites provide direct pool access from the terrace, allowing guests to move seamlessly between their room and the water. Higher-category suites feature private plunge pools, larger outdoor living areas and increased privacy. The top suite categories offer more generous internal space and selected units include sea views.

The hotel’s main focal point is its large swimming pool, which runs organically through the centre of the property and connects directly with a number of suites. There is also direct access to the beach, with Barra Grande’s long sandy coastline and consistent winds making the area particularly popular for kitesurfing and wingfoiling during the main season.
