The hotel is located on the beautiful Santa Maria Beach on the southern most part of the island of Sal, Cape Verde. It is like a small village quarter full of trees and flowers.

Morabeza means welcome in the local Creole language, and that's exactly how you'll feel at this family-run old-timer. It started life over 40 years ago as a private family home, and today, this converted villa has blossomed into the perfect blend of home and hip.

From the outside, the reception building is every inch the Portuguese farmhouse, with its sand-colored stone, wooden balconies, and terracotta roof tiles. But inside, it's taken a more modern approach.

Hotel Morabeza offers a variety of accommodations in a charming setting along the finest beach of Sal Island. 88 rooms and 33 suites, with terraces or balconies, overlook the sea or the gardens. All the rooms are decorated in a sober and refined style and comfortably equipped. Junior Suite garden side: 15 seaside and 2 garden side. Large room with adjoining living room and terrace. Can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults

Family Suite garden side with 2 bedrooms and a living room and terrace. It can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children under 12 years old or 4 adults.

Superior Family Suite (1 seaside and 1 garden side) This suite has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a sofa bed and terrace. It can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children under 12 years old or 4 adults.

Duplex Suite seaside. It is set on 2 floors with a large room, a second smaller mezzanine room, and a private balcony. It can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children under 12 years old or 4 adults.

Master Suite seaside. Very large and comfortable suite with sitting corner and impressive sea view terrace.

Executive Suite seaside. This suite has a spacious bedroom and a separate living room. It also has a large bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower, a dressing room, two flat-screen TVs, and two private balconies.

Suite Palmier seaside. Suite with spacious bedroom and comfortable living room with a sofa bed (120cm). Large bathroom with bathtub and separated shower. 2 flat-screen TVs and private balcony.

The bars and restaurants showcase beach cool. Take Aquarius, for instance. It is part of the hotel's Beach Club and has a seaview terrace and laid-back surf vibe. Hotel Morabeza's breakfast buffet is a great way to start your day. You can enjoy a fine breakfast inside or outside on our Esplanade.

Santa Maria's seaside Beach Club restaurant is definitely the most pleasant lunch spot. The menu mainly consists of local fish dishes, enabling the visitor to discover such local specialities. Emphasis is placed on local music, and the village musicians come to the hotel daily at around aperitif time or during the evening. The Aquarius bar is adjoining to the Beach Club.

The Tortue Bar is an undeniable spot to begin or end your evening. This bar offers a small a la carte restaurant for dinner (at menu price), where one can enjoy a world of exotic tastes. This bar-come restaurant has a roof terrace setting, and it's particularly pretty at night. Don't miss the musical appointment and thematic evening!

Les Palmiers restaurant will delight you with its refined, gourmet gastronomy. A varied daily menu is offered to the half-board clients, bringing dinner and buffet breakfast and white wicker chic to the poolside.
