Blaauwberg Beach Hotel

This hotel is all about location. It is the only hotel that is directly on the kitesurfing and windsurfing beach, so if you really want to be 'bed to water', this is the spot. Most of the very large 1 and 2 bedroom apartments are privately owned residences, rented out by the hotel when not in use. Although very large, they can feel quite ‘old fashioned’, and even a little ‘muggy’. But the beach front location is stunning. It is a few minutes drive to the restaurants, cafes and bars in Blaauwberg. This location is great for windsurfers or kitesurfers who want to be able to sail or kite directly in front of their hotel.

All of the hotel’s 40 one and two bed-roomed apartments include en-suite baths and showers, a lounge and dining area, spacious patio and a fully equipped kitchen. With Table Mountain on the opposite side of the bay, taking in the views from our viewing deck, or soaking up the sun at the swimming pool will leave a lasting impression on all of our guests. Our onsite restaurant, Blowfish offers some of the best seafood in Cape Town. Blowfish specialises in providing patrons with fresh seafood, sushi and steaks, surrounded by contemporary décor and with an award-winning wine list to choose from. The hotel also provides conference facilities and our array of venues and meeting rooms are the perfect setting for everything from casual to formal affairs.
