El Moli Apartments General Impression

The recently restored Molí de l'Armentera stands triumphantly amid the beautiful Empordà landscape, surrounded by fruit trees and vast plains, right in the middle of a natural park and not far away from the sea. It has five fully equipped apartments, four hectares of garden, swimming pool, restaurant and a wonderful pond.

A privileged location, just by the sea and crossed by the Fluvià river, which also holds a full wealth of culture, with the ruins of Sant Martí d’Empúrie and the natural park of the Aiguamolls d’Empúrie.

The special conditions of the region provide for different leisure options, such as cycling routes, hiking or horse riding. As far as gastronomy is concerned, there are many interesting places nearby. Museums, art galleries, monuments and other leisure activities (balloon rides, golf, hiking trails, water sports, sport aviation club...) are only a part of the huge offer at hand.

Accommodation

This beautiful refurnished house has five apartments which all have a chimney, a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, with furnishings and decorations in a modern, colourful Mediterranean country style.

The two storey building has two apartments on the ground floor and 3 apartments on the first floor.

Apartment A: This apartment has over 63 m2 and is designed for 4 people (and 2 additional people with bunk beds), with a large lounge-dinning room, kitchenette (equipped with glass-ceramic cooktop, freezer, dish-washer and microwave oven), fireplace and direct access to the garden, a room with double bed and a room with two beds and a bathroom with bathtub. Satellite TV, DVD/CD player and air conditioning system are also included.

Apartment B: This apartment has over 65 m2 and is designed for 4 people (and 2 additional people with bunk beds), with a large lounge-dinning room, kitchenette (equipped with glass-ceramic cooktop, freezer, dish-washer and microwave oven), fireplace and direct access to the garden, a room with double bed and a room with two beds and a bathroom with bathtub. Satellite TV, DVD/CD player and air conditioning system are also included.

Apartment C: This apartment has over 78 m2 and is designed for 2 people (with 4 additional people on bunk beds). The lounge-dinning room has two different atmospheres, fireplace, kitchenette (equipped with glass-ceramic cooktop, freezer, dish-washer and microwave oven), bathroom with bathtub and a large attic with double bed and studio. Satellite TV, DVD/CD player and air conditioning system are also included.

Apartment D: This apartment has over 69 m2 and is designed for 2 people (with 2 additional people on bunk beds). It has a lounge-dinning room, fireplace, kitchenette (equipped with glass-ceramic cooktop, freezer, dish-washer and microwave oven), bathroom with bathtub and a large attic with double bed and studio. Satellite TV, DVD/CD player and air conditioning system are also included.

Apartment E: This apartment has over 78 m2 and is designed for 2 people (with 4 additional people on bunk beds). The lounge-dinning room has two different atmospheres, fireplace, kitchenette (equipped with glass-ceramic cooktop, freezer, dish-washer and microwave oven), bathroom with bathtub and a large attic with double bed and studio. Satellite TV, DVD/CD player and air conditioning system are also included.

The house is surrounded by a huge garden (4 hectares) with a teak-bordered swimming pool, a sundeck, sun chairs and parasols. There are also bicycles available which are free of charge. Sheets and towels are changed after one week. Maid service and babysitting is available any time (extra charge).

Restaurants & Bars

The lower floor of the building houses a pleasant restaurant which serves lunch and dinner.

While in Sant Martí d’Empúrie you can find:

L'Esculapi Pizzeria Restaurant is a restaurant with a 25 year tradition. In the menu card there is great variety of dishes (the carpaccios, the piquillos, the pastes al dente, pizzas from the oven, Crêpes).

Can Roura opened in 1958 as a food shop with four tables where the first tourists were served meals. It was the first restaurant in the Plaza de Sant Martí. The decoration retains the rustic style of what used to be a Catalan farmhouse, but incorporating more modern features (Mediterranean and Catalan cuisine).
