Amanyara, in detail

Amanyana

Amanyara is a secluded, ultra-luxury resort located on the untouched northwest coast of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Nestled between a protected nature reserve and a pristine white-sand beach, it offers absolute tranquillity and privacy, making it ideal for couples, discerning travellers, and families seeking understated elegance, discreet service, and a deep connection to nature. The atmosphere is serene and refined, with a strong sense of space, natural beauty, and calm. The resort’s highlights include stylish pavilion and villa accommodation set around tranquil reflection ponds or along the oceanfront, an exceptional spa and wellness programme, superb dining, and direct access to a sheltered beach and marine sanctuary ideal for snorkelling and diving. Amanyara is particularly suited to those looking to disconnect, rejuvenate, and enjoy quiet luxury in one of the Caribbean’s most peaceful settings.
Accommodation at Amanyara consists of a collection of Pavilions and multi-bedroom Villas, all designed with Amanyara’s signature clean lines, natural materials, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. Interiors are spacious and minimalist, with high ceilings, dark timber finishes, king beds, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto private terraces with loungers, dining areas, and views of the ocean, ponds, or gardens.
The Pavilion is the entry-level category, offering around 1,250 square feet of space. Each features a king-size bed, a spacious bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, indoor and outdoor rain showers, a writing desk, and a large terrace. Pavilions are surrounded by natural vegetation for privacy and are ideal for couples. Some are positioned overlooking reflection ponds, while others are closer to the ocean or set within the coastal vegetation.
The Alcove Pavilion offers the same layout and features but includes an extended terrace with a shaded outdoor lounge area. These are ideal for longer stays or guests who prefer extra space for outdoor living.
The Pool Pavilion includes a private 10-metre (33-foot) lava stone infinity pool set into the terrace. It has the same interior layout as the standard Pavilion but offers additional privacy and is perfect for couples or solo travellers looking for a more exclusive experience.
The Ocean Pavilion is set directly along the ironshore coastline, offering sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean from its elevated terrace. The design remains consistent with the standard Pavilion but is positioned to capture the sea breeze and sound of the waves, with dramatic sunset views. It is one of the most sought-after options for couples.
The Ocean Cove Pavilion is similar but offers a more sheltered location nestled slightly closer to the shoreline within a small cove area, giving a greater sense of seclusion.
The Amanyara Villas range in size from three to six bedrooms and are ideal for families or groups. Each villa is set around a black-tiled private infinity pool and includes a main living pavilion, fully equipped kitchen, extensive outdoor dining and lounging areas, private pathways to the beach or shoreline, and personal services such as a dedicated housekeeper and chef. The villas are spacious and private, ranging from 6,000 to over 14,000 square feet depending on the number of bedrooms, and all are designed to blend into the natural surroundings with the same open, refined architectural style.
Amanyara is designed as a retreat, with a focus on nature, wellness, and understated luxury. The central resort buildings include the open-air restaurant, bar, and lounging areas, all overlooking a volcanic rock infinity pool that appears to merge with the ocean. The Restaurant offers refined but relaxed dining, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and global flavours, including Asian, Mediterranean, and Caribbean influences. Dining can be enjoyed in the main pavilion, on the terrace, or privately within your pavilion or villa. The Beach Club, located directly on the sand, serves a casual lunch menu and drinks throughout the day in a shaded, open-air setting near the sea.
The Aman Spa is one of the finest in the Caribbean, offering a tranquil setting in a secluded area of the property surrounded by reflecting pools and gardens. Treatments include massages, facials, body therapies, and holistic rituals inspired by both Eastern and Caribbean traditions. Guests can also participate in wellness programmes including yoga, Pilates, breathwork, and meditation sessions held in an open-air pavilion or on the beach. There are also four treatment pavilions, a Pilates studio, and a hydrotherapy suite with cold plunge pool and steam room.
The fitness centre is large and well equipped, with cardio and strength equipment, personal training available, and views over the gardens. There are also tennis courts and a multi-sport court for basketball and football, with equipment provided.
The beach at Amanyara is quiet and pristine, with soft white sand and calm, turquoise water protected by a reef. It is ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and snorkelling. The nearby reefs are part of the Northwest Point Marine National Park, making this one of the best areas in the region for snorkelling directly from shore. Kayaks, Hobie Cats, paddleboards, and snorkelling gear are all complimentary.
Amanyara also offers tailored diving experiences for beginners and advanced divers alike, with easy access to coral walls, reef systems, and marine life including turtles and tropical fish. Private boat charters, sunset cruises, and guided excursions into the nature reserve can also be arranged.
For families, there is a Nature Discovery Centre offering a gentle educational experience for children, with daily activities focused on marine life, local ecology, and creative play. There are no formal kids’ clubs, but the atmosphere is welcoming to children, with flexible programming and thoughtful attention from staff.
Service is highly personalised, with a focus on privacy and discretion. Every guest receives individual attention from the moment of arrival, and staff will tailor experiences to your preferences, whether it’s setting up a private beach dinner, organising wellness consultations, or arranging off-property excursions.
