Our partner kitesurf centre in Golf De Roses is on a beautiful wide sandy beach around a 10 to 20 minute drive from our range of stunning accommodations. Rentals of the latest kiteboarding equipment and kite surf storage are further services offered by our kite surfing centre. The fully equipped shop carries spare parts, kites, boards, accessories and the associated sportswear.

This is one of the best kitesurf schools we work with offering a wide variety of watersports including SUPing, windsurf and even hydro kiting! This is also a great spot for a family holiday with use of a near by restaurant and pools. Its new and generously proportioned spa with chill-out roof terrace is another highlight on the site.

For many years, the Bay of Roses has been known as the best kitesurfing spot with the most constant winds in Northern Spain. Kitesurfing conditions could not be more ideal. The thermal wind is very reliable and builds up towards midday. The fine sandy beach, interspersed with small dunes, is about 80m wide, and the shallow-water area extends for about 30m. The shape of the bay ensures absolute safety for kite surfers in Tramuntana and thermal wind conditions; what is more, the regular winds never blow offshore.

During high season (mid June – mid September) kitesurfing is only allowed for a limited number of pre-booked kitesurfers so please be sure to book early with Planet kitesurf to be sure of a place at this very popular kitesurf beach. Alternatively, there is a public kitesurf beach not far away. Furthermore, private kite surfers, as well as rental and storage guests, have to be able to go upwind as entry and exit of the kitesurfing zone are very narrow.

The centre offers daily kite surfing instruction, also with the help of a motorboat, depending on the wind direction. Courses are held directly in front of the centre in the private, dedicated kite surfing zone.

In the summer months, in particular, the wind conditions are ideal for beginners' instruction. The wide beach and the dedicated kite surfing zone give you enough room to fly the kite for the first time or simply learn how to launch it. Kite surfing instruction is offered in many different languages, and the kitesurf instructors have international certificates.

Foil-training and kitesurf strapless training is available at this centre. Wing foiling is also available here. Minimum level for kitesurf-foil-training: able to kite on a strapless board.
